Job Description
Overview:
The Oracle BRM Technical Consultant plays a crucial role in the organization responsible for the technical design development and implementation of Oracle Billing and Revenue Management solutions. They collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical expertise in delivering effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirement analysis design development testing and support
- Customize Oracle BRM applications to meet clientspecific requirements
- Develop and implement product customizations using PL/SQL Java and Unix scripts
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders
- Conduct system performance tuning and ensure high availability of Oracle BRM solutions
- Integrate Oracle BRM with other enterprise systems and applications
- Create and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Support endtoend testing and deployment activities
- Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot system problems
- Stay updated with Oracle BRM product enhancements and new features
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions
- Assist in training and knowledge transfer to client personnel
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience working as an Oracle BRM Technical Consultant
- Expertise in Oracle BRM design configuration and customization
- Proficiency in PL/SQL Java and Unix scripting
- Strong understanding of telecom billing and revenue management concepts
- Experience with Oracle BRM integration with CRM Billing and ERP systems
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a clientfacing role and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Certifications in Oracle BRM or related technologies are a plus
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment
- Adaptability to dynamic project requirements and timelines
- Good understanding of database concepts and data modeling
- Solid understanding of system performance optimization techniques
