Were seeking a Quality Control Inspector with 35 years of experience to perform detailed inspections and ensure conformance to engineering specifications in a manufacturing environment.

What youll be doing:

• Receive visually inspect count and check in all received items documenting and processing relevant information.
• Perform a variety of visual dimensional and nondestructive inspections to verify that parts meet specified requirements.
• Use precision measuring tools to check complex parts for conformity to engineered drawings and verify operator inspection records.
• Conduct first article inprocess and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Document nonconformances and make acceptance or rejection decisions as needed.
• Conduct inspections at outside vendors for machined parts and assemblies.
• Operate overhead cranes and material moving equipment to transport received items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Inspect certify and perform minor repairs on precision instruments and gauges.
• Follow safety protocols and hazardous waste handling procedures in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Ensure work is produced on time and meets ISO 9001 requirements.

MustHave Qualifications:

• Completion of two to four years at a Trade or Technical School or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in advanced shop mathematics and ability to read and interpret complex drawings charts and specifications.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality inspection using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to stand walk bend kneel and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Good handeye coordination (eye test required) and the ability to work in both hot and cold environments.
