Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing physical and virtual environments along with a strong proficiency in AWS cloud platform tools for data and process monitoring. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability security and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the deployment management and monitoring of cloud resources in AWS ensuring optimal performance and costeffectiveness.
Manage and maintain physical servers and virtual machines ensuring seamless integration with cloud services.
Utilize AWS monitoring tools to track performance metrics system health and data integrity. Generate reports to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.
Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud environments including access controls data protection and compliance with industry standards
Troubleshoot and resolve cloudrelated issues collaborating with internal teams to address incidents in a timely manner.
Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and enhance resource utilization.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture processes and procedures for reference and training.
Work closely with development operations and security teams to support cloud initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Extensive experience in cloud administration specifically with AWS.
- Strong knowledge of physical and virtual environments (VMware HyperV etc.).
- Proficiency in AWS tools such as CloudWatch CloudTrail and AWS Lambda.
- Experience with monitoring and reporting tools for data and process analysis.
- Solid understanding of network and security protocols.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python Bash etc.) for automation.
