Job Summary:

As a Junior Financial Analyst Financial Reporting and Performance you will play a key role in supporting our financial reporting and performance management activities. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical enjoys working with data and is looking to grow their career in finance. You will assist in preparing financial reports analyzing performance metrics and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports. Ensure reports are accurate timely and comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance metrics and identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to support decisionmaking.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and reporting tools. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial records.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data preparing reports and analyzing variances between actuals and forecasts.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as requested by senior analysts or management. Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial reporting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
  • Experience: 12 years of experience in a financial analyst role or relevant internship experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar tools). Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to achieving common goals.
  • ProblemSolving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and providing solutions.
