Job Summary The Junior Financial Analyst will assist in the development and of financial plans and strategies. This role will involve analyzing financial data preparing reports and supporting the FP&A team in various financial modeling and forecasting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset proficiency in financial software and a keen interest in financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities - Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements budgets and forecasts to identify trends variances and opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present monthly quarterly and annual financial reports highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts working closely with different departments to gather relevant information.
- Data Management: Collect organize and validate financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Modeling: Support the creation and maintenance of financial models to assist in strategic planning and decisionmaking.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze budget vs. actual performance investigating discrepancies and providing explanations.
- AdHoc Analysis: Perform special financial analyses as required to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications - Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Experience: 02 years of experience in financial analysis accounting or a similar role (internships or relevant coursework will be considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel financial modeling and data analysis. Experience with financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle Hyperion) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
