Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our Compliance and Risk team. The ideal candidate will support the team in monitoring financial operations ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and identifying potential risks. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in financial compliance and risk management within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation of financial compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform risk assessments by analyzing financial data and identifying potential areas of concern.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent adherence to compliance standards.
- Support the Compliance and Risk Manager in conducting financial audits and reviews.
- Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards and update policies accordingly.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance and Risk team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in finance accounting or a similar role with exposure to compliance or risk management preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
