Job Title: Regulatory Data Governance Lead

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Data Governance Lead to join our Wealth Management Data Governance Team. This role is instrumental in enhancing the organizations regulatory reporting processes and ensuring data governance compliance. As a critical member of the team you will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive data management improvements and regulatory reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data consumers across the organization to develop and refine reporting processes implementing changes and improvements as needed.
- Work closely with Enterprise Data Management to understand business rules tools and requirements ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop functional specifications to define data and derivation requirements for the IT development group supporting regulatory reporting efforts.
- Lead efforts in testing training and implementing new or improved processes with internal business partners.
- Conduct data analysis for regulatory reporting requirements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 510 years of business or data analysis experience with a focus on regulatory reporting and governance.
- Preferred: Experience in external reporting internal audit and supporting multiple enterprise systems implementations.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis.
- Familiarity with data governance tools such as Collibra IDQ ASG Solidatus.
- Experience with financial regulatory reporting particularly in North America.
- Knowledge of data quality contracts and CDE management.
- Understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) and test plan development.
- Axiom knowledge or implementation experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Financial Services Background: Experience in financial product analysis and data management within financial services is highly preferred.
- SQL Expertise: Strong understanding of SQL for facilitating data analysis and governance processes.
- Axiom: Experience with Axiom for regulatory reporting (nice to have).
