Job Description
Application Lead/Architect (Python Heavy)
Duration: 618 months to start likely extending to at least 2 years
Location: 100% Remote
Interview Process: 1 Step
Start Date: ASAP
Visa: USC or GC only
We are seeking a Lead Developer/Architect with 10 years of experience to design and build scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python and AWS along with the ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders. This role requires handson coding designing lowlevel architectures and the ability to manage CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:- Architect and develop Pythonbased applications for processing input XML files transforming them into YAML files and integrating with databases.
- Design and implement scalable solutions while working closely with business and technical teams.
- Modify and integrate CI/CD pipelines with external tools and RESTful endpoints.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to program CI/CD pipelines and deploy infrastructure using Ansible and Jenkins.
- Lead Python development including objectoriented programming (OOP) and scripting.
- Utilize AWS services (Lambda EC2 VPC) for infrastructure and application development.
- 10 years of development experience with a strong focus on Python (including OOP and scripting).
- Seniorlevel experience in designing and architecting Python applications.
- Expertise in AWS services including Lambda EC2 VPC and networking.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and integration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
