Job Description
Overview:
The Dynatrace Admin plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability performance and optimal functioning of the Dynatrace monitoring platform within the organization. They are responsible for overseeing the configuration administration and maintenance of Dynatrace to meet the business requirements and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Dynatrace components and agents.
- Monitor the performance and stability of applications infrastructure and networks using Dynatrace.
- Identify analyze and troubleshoot performance and stability issues.
- Optimize the performance of applications and infrastructure based on Dynatrace insights.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for Dynatrace monitoring and management.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate Dynatrace into the existing infrastructure and workflows.
- Implement and manage custom monitoring solutions and dashboards in Dynatrace.
- Coordinate incident management and resolution related to Dynatracemonitored systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to teams for leveraging Dynatrace capabilities.
- Document processes configurations and best practices related to Dynatrace administration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in administering Dynatrace in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and management of complex IT systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Bash.
- Experience in performance optimization and capacity planning using Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of incident management and ITIL best practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret monitoring data to drive performance improvements.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Certifications in Dynatrace administration and monitoring are preferred.
- Demonstrated problemsolving abilities and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
