Overview:
The Telecaller plays a crucial role in the organization by being the first point of contact with potential customers. They are responsible for making outbound calls to generate leads answer incoming calls to provide information about products or services and maintain a database of contacts for followup calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to potential leads.
- Answer incoming calls and provide information about products or services.
- Maintain a database of contacts for followup calls.
- Understand and promote the companys products or services.
- Research and qualify new leads.
- Conduct customer and market surveys.
- Set appointments with prospective customers.
- Follow up with potential leads.
- Handle customer complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure quotas are met.
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
- Meet and exceed call and sales targets.
- Submit regular reports to the Team Leader or Manager.
- Provide feedback and input to improve the calling process.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelor s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a telecaller or similar sales/customer service role.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to persuade and influence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and objections professionally.
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Resultoriented and selfmotivated with a strong work ethic.
- Problemsolving and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and handle a high volume of calls.
- Proficiency in relevant languages may be required.
