Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing custom ABAP solutions to meet business needs. You will work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to enhance existing SAP systems and develop new functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain ABAP programs reports interfaces forms and enhancements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and assist in integration and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and performance.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
- Document technical specifications and maintain technical documentation for reference.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest ABAP technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in ABAP development preferably in an SAP environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g. SD MM FICO).
- Experience with ABAP ObjectOriented programming.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
- Understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDoc BAPI RFC).
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- SAP certification in ABAP is an advantage.
