Job Description
We are hiring Project Manager for a leading Construction Company
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage residential construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop and maintain project plans schedules and budgets
- Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with architects engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor and report on project progress risks and issues to stakeholders
- Manage project resources including labor materials and equipment
- Implement and maintain effective project communication and documentation
- Resolve projectrelated conflicts and issues in a proactive and professional manner
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to plans
- Prepare and present regular project reports to management and clients
- Participate in the project budgeting forecasting and cost control processes
- Ensure timely project delivery and handover meeting all quality and safety standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices
- Manage and motivate project team members to achieve project goals
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and industry regulations
- Excellent leadership interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Sound understanding of budgeting cost control and financial management
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Nungambakkam
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Keen attention to detail and quality
- Flexibility to work onsite and manage project teams effectively
