Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve production issues
- Work on continuous improvement projects to optimize production and reduce costs
- Participate in the installation and validation of new equipment
- Conduct research to develop new manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support for production teams
- Implement lean manufacturing principles
- Perform root cause analysis for production failures
- Support production scheduling and resource allocation
- Create and maintain production documentation
- Train production staff on new processes and equipment
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies in the production environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Industrial Mechanical or Production Engineering
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and principles
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Knowledge of quality control and assurance methods
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and process optimization
- Familiarity with production management and scheduling
- Understanding of material properties and processing techniques
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Internship or coop experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
