Overview:
The Human Resource InternUnpaid plays a critical role in supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks and gaining practical experience in human resource functions. This role is instrumental in assisting with recruitment onboarding data management and maintaining HR documentation. The intern will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to HR initiatives and projects gaining valuable insights into the workings of an HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Support the HR team in onboarding procedures for new employees including preparing welcome kits and documentation.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks such as preparing HRrelated documents and correspondence.
- Participate in HR projects including policy development and implementation.
- Conduct research on HR trends and best practices to support the teams initiatives.
- Provide support for training and development initiatives including coordinating training programs and tracking employee participation.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional HR environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Assist in creating and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Support with data entry and analysis for HR metrics and reporting.
- Assist in organizing HR events and activities for employees.
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detailoriented with strong data entry and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of HRIS and HR database systems is a plus.
- Proactive and eager to learn from handson HR experience.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism.
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Willingness to adapt and take on new challenges in the HR field.
