Job Description

Overview:
As the Head of Operations in the manufacturing sector you will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing all manufacturing processes ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the production facility. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and achieving targeted production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the manufacturing facility
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity
  • Manage and monitor production schedules and ensure ontime delivery
  • Oversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and manage production budgets and expenses
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Analyze performance data and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Contribute to the development and of the manufacturing strategy
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence and accountability
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior operations management role within the manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes including lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Solid knowledge of budgeting and financial management
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Outstanding problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Indepth knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities
