Overview
The Java Developer plays a critical role in the software development lifecycle contributing to the design development and maintenance of highquality software solutions. As a crucial member of the development team the Java Developer will be responsible for implementing and testing application features debugging and resolving technical issues and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis design implementation testing and maintenance.
- Develop highquality code following industry best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Design develop and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies.
- Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure high reliability and stability.
- Integrate software components and thirdparty programs to meet system requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer or a related role.
- Expertise in Java programming language and objectoriented design principles.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in Spring Framework and related technologies.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of web technologies and frameworks like HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
- Certifications related to Java development are a plus.
- US Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the US.
