Azure PaaS

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and manage Azure PaaS solutions such as Azure App Service Azure Functions Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance on utilizing Azure PaaS services effectively.
• Implement automation and DevOps practices to streamline the deployment and management of Azure PaaS resources.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure PaaS services to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in the Azure PaaS environment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Azure PaaS services.
• Participate in the planning and of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Azure PaaS.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure PaaS features and recommend their adoption based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate Azure PaaS solutions with existing systems.
• Document design implementation and operational procedures related to Azure PaaS solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure certification such as AZ204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Azure PaaS solutions in a production environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash for automating Azure PaaS deployments and management.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience in implementing DevOps practices in Azure PaaS environments.
• Indepth knowledge of Azure security identity and access management concepts.
• Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting the performance of Azure PaaS services.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Understanding of cloudnative application architecture and best practices.
