We are hiring for a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of one of our clients an agritech company based in Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales and marketing within the agricultural sector with a proven ability to manage both B2B and B2C processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire sales process for the region including both B2B and B2C activities.
Develop and execute demand generation strategies to drive sales.
Strategize and manage channel expansion initiatives.
Design and implement channel and business promotion schemes to maximize sales.
Manage collections and receivables.
Collaborate with the regional agronomist and product development team to design market development activities.
Provide feedback to leadership on product pricing competitor activities and strategies to counter competition.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualification: M.Sc/B.Sc (Agri) or B.Tech (Agri) with a strong academic background.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing with a minimum of 3 years leading a state or regional sales team in a large agriinput company.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing teams and sales channels.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Proficient in MS Office.
Willingness to travel extensively with more than 15 days of travel per month.
