We are looking for a Lead SDET to join our team and drive the quality assurance process for our products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation testing performance testing and cloudbased infrastructure with a focus on AWS Docker and Kubernetes. As a Lead SDET you will lead test strategy creation manage automation frameworks and ensure our systems are robust scalable and meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the SDET team in the design development and of automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks with a focus on scalability and robustness.
- Plan and execute performance testing strategies to ensure system reliability and stability under load.
- Integrate Docker and Kubernetes into the testing pipeline for containerized applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of testing environments with AWS.
- Monitor test s and troubleshoot failures using automation scripts logging tools and metrics.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline integration to automate testing and deployment workflows.
- Stay uptodate with industry best practices and advancements in SDET methodologies and testing tools.
- Lead root cause analysis for defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Ensure compliance with security and performance benchmarks across environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in test automation and performance testing.
- Expertise in building and managing test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of AWS services including EC2 S3 Lambda and CloudWatch.
- Handson experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript for test script development.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab or CircleCI.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling or LoadRunner).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and handle crossteam collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture and testing.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards.
- Prior experience working in cloudnative environments with AWS as the primary cloud platform.
