Lead SDET

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the SDET team in the design development and of automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks with a focus on scalability and robustness.
• Plan and execute performance testing strategies to ensure system reliability and stability under load.
• Integrate Docker and Kubernetes into the testing pipeline for containerized applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of testing environments with AWS.
• Monitor test s and troubleshoot failures using automation scripts logging tools and metrics.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline integration to automate testing and deployment workflows.
• Stay uptodate with industry best practices and advancements in SDET methodologies and testing tools.
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Ensure compliance with security and performance benchmarks across environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in test automation and performance testing.
• Expertise in building and managing test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of AWS services including EC2 S3 Lambda and CloudWatch.
• Handson experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript for test script development.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab or CircleCI.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling or LoadRunner).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing methodologies.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment and handle crossteam collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and testing.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards.
• Prior experience working in cloudnative environments with AWS as the primary cloud platform.
