Salon Manager
Overview:
The Salon Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the salon ensuring exceptional customer service and driving business growth. They are responsible for managing the staff maintaining inventory and creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage salon staff and create a positive work environment
- Oversee daily salon operations and resolve issues
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Maintain inventory of salon products and supplies
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle customer inquiries
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling payroll and budgeting
- Train and mentor staff to deliver highquality services
- Monitor and analyze salon performance and create action plans for improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Participate in recruiting hiring and onboarding new employees
- Collaborate with vendors and manage supplier relationships
- Drive retail sales and meet revenue targets
- Handle complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices
- Contribute to fostering a positive salon culture
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in salon management or relevant leadership role
- Strong understanding of hair and beauty treatments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in salon software and scheduling systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Familiarity with inventory management and financial principles
- Leadership and teambuilding skills
- Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus
- Customercentric mindset and passion for the beauty industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience in driving retail sales and meeting targets
