Job Description:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Fabrication Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all fabricated components meet the required standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Fabrication Inspector or in a similar quality control role.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes materials and quality standards.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g. ISO ASTM).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate fabricated materials and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct thorough examinations of welding machining and assembly processes.
- Identify defects or discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct audits and prepare documentation for compliance with industry standards.
- Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality assurance practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and quality control methodologies.
