Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client requirements and objectives for IoT projects
- Design scalable and secure IoT architecture
- Integrate IoT components including sensors devices and gateways
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement IoT solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation phase
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Perform feasibility studies and technical assessments for IoT projects
- Conduct proof of concept (PoC) and prototype development
- Evaluate and select appropriate IoT platforms and technologies
- Implement data management and analytics strategies for IoT solutions
- Manage integration with cloud services and big data platforms
- Address security and privacy considerations in IoT solutions
- Optimize network connectivity and communication protocols for IoT
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies and trends
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in IoT solution design and architecture
- Expertise in cloud services such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with big data technologies and analytics frameworks
- Solid understanding of IoT security protocols and best practices
- Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols
- Experience in data analytics and visualization for IoT applications
- Certifications in IoT cloud computing or related fields (e.g. AWS IoT Azure IoT CCNA)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proactive approach towards learning and adopting new technologies
- Knowledge of industrial IoT (IIoT) and edge computing is a plus
- Experience with IoT development platforms and tools
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance for IoT solutions
