Position: Government Tendering B2G Specialist
Experience: Min 3 Yrs
Responsibilities:
1. Tender Document Review: Thoroughly review tender documents scope of works and feasibility to determine qualification criteria. Prepare presentations risk matrices and relevant information for top management to obtain approval for bidding.
2. PreQualification Assessment: Assess the prequalification requirements and support the tendering team in making Bid/No Bid decisions. Evaluate the suitability of the company for specific government tenders.
3. Product Solutions and Market Analysis: Identify alternate product solutions analyze market trends and monitor price fluctuations. Explore new quality vendors and evaluate their potential to meet project requirements.
4. Contract Analysis: Analyze contract terms and conditions bid bond requirements performance guarantees milestones payment terms defects liability period special conditions taxes and fees. Ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations.
5. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and opportunities associated with the proposal pricing during the tender submission stage. Mitigate risks and optimize pricing strategies to enhance the companys competitiveness.
6. Coordination and Planning: Collaborate with internal and external departments to develop project construction plans schedules staffing requirements and infrastructure needs. Coordinate with teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive tender submissions.
7. Pricing Database Maintenance: Maintain an updated list of product pricing for use by the business development project and operations teams. Provide pricing information for various products equipment and projects.
8. Tender Preparation and Evaluation: Prepare and coordinate tender submissions. Review bids from multiple EPC contractors to ensure conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bids.
9. Site Investigation and Logistics: Conduct site investigations analyze logistics plans and assess nearby materials sources. Consider these factors in the preparation of tender proposals and evaluate potential impacts on project .
10. Qualification Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with more than 5 years of experience preparing bid offers related to photovoltaic solar energy facilities.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in government tendering specifically in the B2G (BusinesstoGovernment) sector.
Strong understanding of tender documents prequalification requirements and bidding processes.
Knowledge of contract analysis including terms and conditions financial aspects and legal compliance.
Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and identify new vendors.
Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage tender preparation and evaluation processes.
Familiarity with project planning and scheduling including resource allocation and infrastructure requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
Effective communication and presentation skills to liaise with internal teams and management.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
