Job Description
Job Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial and facility equipment such as washers dryers ironers conveyors boilers air compressors WWT and pumps.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose potential issues to keep the plant running at maximum productivity.
- Provide support to other technicians including developing training documents and assisting with unique machine problems.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the CMMS system and perform all tasks within the system.
- Maintain all equipment according to manufacturers and company recommendations.
- Provide backup support to the Maintenance Manager on site.
- Work on advanced projects and repairs.
- Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assist other production locations with projects and troubleshooting requests as needed.
Requirements
- Associate s Degree from a technical college or trade school diploma required; Bachelor s Degree preferred.
- 10 years as a technician in an industrial setting required.
- Proficiency in reading electrical pneumatic steam and hydraulic schematics.
- Advanced experience with PLCs motors electrical circuits pneumatics compressed air systems and hydraulic systems.
- Expertise in industrialsized boilers steam systems and repairing various pump styles.
- Advanced knowledge in PLCs/ladder logic/programming inverters/VFDs/starters electronics system integration/communication and optical scanners/testers.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
- Reliable transportation for ontime reporting even during adverse weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and a stable work history.
