We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Information Technology Associate to join a leading automotive company. The companys IT team is vital in supporting and enhancing technological infrastructure ensuring seamless operations across the organization.
Job Overview:
As an IT Associate you will be crucial in maintaining and supporting the IT systems hardware and software. You will assist with troubleshooting technical issues managing user accounts and providing exceptional customer service to our employees and dealer network. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT systems strong problemsolving skills and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to endusers including troubleshooting hardware software and network issues.
- Assist with the installation configuration and maintenance of computer systems and software applications.
- Manage user accounts including setting up new accounts resetting passwords and configuring access permissions.
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment inventory including desktops laptops printers and peripherals.
- Perform routine system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
- Document technical procedures system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement improve and support new technologies and upgrades.
- Provide training and support to employees on ITrelated issues and best practices.
- Assist with ITrelated projects as needed.
Requirements
- A degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 35 years of IT work experience preferably in the Automotive industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Power BI and SAP will be highly beneficial.
- Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems and common business software applications.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with endusers of varying technical expertise.
- Detailoriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certification (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Specialist) is a plus.
