Optical Design Engineer
Job Overview: This role involves the development of LED modules for headlamps as part of a research and development team. Responsibilities include optical design coordination with internal and external parties and collaboration with global affiliates.
Department Summary: Focuses on the optical design of nextgeneration automotive lighting products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop headlamp LED modules.
- Design LED modules and manage communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.
- Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and Japanese communication skills are essential.
- Experience as an optical engineer is preferred.
Required:
- Graduated from a science or engineering university or have equivalent basic knowledge.
- Proficient in Japanese and English for communication and documentation.
- Valid drivers license.
Preferred:
- Experience with CATIA V5.
- Skills in surface modeling with CATIA.
- Software development and programming experience.
Desired Profile:
- Interest or experience in optical research and development during university.
- Enthusiastic about automotive design and manufacturing.
