Job Description:
Manage the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual regulatory reports under
US GAAP.
Manage a team responsible for providing financial statements for a wide variety of
alternative investment funds including but not limited to hedge funds private equity funds
and closedend registered products. Conduct variance analysis and reconciliation to identify
discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial data reported.
Lead the adoption of new US GAAP accounting standards and ensure timely and accurate
integration into reporting processes. Oversees compliance and detail review of financial
statements prepared by the associates / reviewers with US GAAP IFRS and other widely
adopted accounting principles.
Foster a collaborative environment to drive team success and meet deadlines for regulatory
submissions. Prepares and reviews monthly quarterly and annual regulatory reports (e.g.
Form PF Form PQR Annex IV (AIFMD) Form 13F CIMA FAR and others). Engaging with the
client to strengthen the relationship. Provides peer reviews of financial reports.
Participates in adhoc financial reporting projects as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in accounting finance or related field or equivalent experience
CPA or CA certification.
Required Skills/Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in alternative investments industry with advanced knowledge of
financial & regulatory reporting
Indepth knowledge and understanding of portfolio accounting and the investment management
industry
Ability to align teams and resources to fit the overall strategy.
Highly motivated and goaloriented with ability to lead in a professional and challenging
environment and deliver results against fastpaced deliverable deadlines
Outstanding presentation communication interpersonal and coaching skills.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements/tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office product
