Were currently hiring a Health Safety and Digital Specialist for Poznan.

Mission:

Working as a Health Safety & IT Specialist at EKOS Poznan for Saur Central Europe & Balcans (CEB) you will work closely with the corporate IT and Health & Safety department as well as all managers in the CEB region.

Responsibilities:

  1. DIGITAL:
  • working in close coordination with the Corporate IT Department and Managers in the CEB Region;
  • responsibility for the definition development implementation maintenance and support of all ICT systems in the region;
  • preparing and implementing the ICT strategy for the CEB region in close cooperation with SAURs Corporate IT Department and directors and managers;
  • ICT task management including organising and allocating responsibilities to business partners;
  • preparing ICT policy statements procedures and reports including data security and data backups;
  • carrying out regular checks and audits of systems networks and data security;
  • Preparing monitoring and reporting on the IT budget optimising IT resources and finding synergies between units.

2.HEALTH AND SAFETY:

  • Working closely with the SAUR Groups corporate health and safety department as well as with managers in the Central Europe & Balkans (CEB) region.
  • Fostering a company culture focused on ensuring the safety of its employees.
  • Maintaining companies in compliance with health and safety legal requirements.
  • Carry out periodic inspections of the facilities of SAUR Group companies and audits of working conditions and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and rules.
  • Conducting employees initial and periodic health and safety training in a timely manner.
  • Seeing to the issue of personal protective equipment etc.
  • Drafting and ongoing modification of all instructions orders regulations reports relating to health and safety at work and fire safety ensuring their compliance with the law and completing and maintaining documentation.
  • Implementation of corporate health and safety requirements procedures and processes.
  • Reporting weekly monthly annually to the CEB business unit and to head office and reporting of any incidents or events.
  • Ongoing analysis and anticipation of fire and emergency situations that may occur on company premises.
  • To popularise the area of occupational health and safety and ergonomics among management and operational and clerical staff.

Requirements:

  • Min. 23 years experience in a similar position in a company in the water/wastewater/manufacturing/logistics industry.
  • University degree majoring in health and safety.
  • Very good knowledge of current labour health and safety and fire safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English at least at B2 level prerequisite.
  • Initiative in implementing improvements that raise the standard of health safety and ergonomics at work.
  • Responsibility selfreliance resultorientation good work organisation.
  • Calm and clear thinking when working under pressure.
  • Ability to persuade teams by providing advice and guidance.
  • Openness and ability to deal with rapid changes in business needs processes and technology.
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
  • Ability to work with staff at different levels of the organisation.
  • National and international travel is required in this role.
  • Knowledge of the French language.
