Job Description
We are looking for a committed Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in NORSOK with a Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical power engineering energy and the environment or equivalent. This role involves working on projects that adhere to NORSOK standards requiring strong technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
Main areas of responsibility:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will mainly work in project teams and carry out engineering of electrical deliveries to the power and offshore industries. Your areas of responsibility include:
- Project planning preparation and implementation of technical solutions for electrical systems.
- Management or participation in project teams that carry out engineering of electrical power equipment and electrical distribution systems for the offshore and power market.
- Integration of electrical systems in control systems and contribution to digitization of electrical equipment.
- Preparation of documentation clarifications with customers and implementation of internal tests and FAT.
Essential Skills:
- Degree in Electrical power engineering energy and environment or related fields.
- Experience in the delivery of HV/MV/LV SWBD HV/MV transformers and/or frequency converters will be valued.
- Expertise in NORSOK standards.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as SIGGRAPH AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Understanding of protection and control systems (Siprotec/Digsi) stations/transformers/UPS generators and ESS (Energy Storage Systems).
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years relevant experience as an electrical engineer preferably from the oil and gas industry and various project phases is an advantage.
Language: Fluency in English and Norwegian is a plus.
