Job Description
Position : Accounting Automation Analyst
Location : Tempe AZ (Hybrid)
Duration : 6 Months with EXT
Will be heavily using SAP (HEC) application.
Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience
35 years payroll Finance or Accounting Experience
Experience with indepth business systems analysis functional design documentation and process modeling
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
Experience with SAP Surrounding team/key projects
Pilot Contract
Flight related initiatives
CA sick flight SAP payroll experience is a hard requirement.
Attention to detail is a must. Good background in regression testing implementation experience and/or UAT testing is preferred.
Job Description:
- This job is a member of the payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division.
- Responsible for gathering business requirements testing implementation and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.
What youll do
- Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities
- Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation including but not limited to business requirements process flows test plans test scripts and test results
- Assists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
- Represents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
- Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing team
- Some travel required as needed
Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training including payroll and payroll processes
Preferred Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
- At least 35 years payroll Finance or Accounting experience
- Experience with in depth business systems analysis functional design documentation and process modeling
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
- Experience with SAP is required
Skills Licenses & Certifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.
- Experience with system design and implementation
- Ability to read and understand multiple labor agreements
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work well under stressful situations
- Ability to handle multiple assignments changing priorities with minimal supervision
