Solution IT Inc. is looking for a QA Engineer Test Automation for one of its clients in Smithfield RI
Job Title: QA Engineer Test Automation
Description:
We are seeking 1 experienced QA Engineer (Test Automation) for a critical project aimed at replacing the current reporting tool WebFOCUS within the FundsNetwork application. This role will contribute to the development of a new inhouse reporting application. This role will contribute a new Invoice viewer application will be developed and integrated to existing FundsNetwork application that will enable them to view the list of invoices and select them to display a detailed view of the invoice.
Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain automated test scripts for our new reporting and invoice viewer applications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure application functionality.
- Participate in the design and development of test frameworks to improve testing processes.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and improve application performance.
- Ensure testing activities align with project timelines and deadlines.
- Provide detailed documentation of test procedures results and recommendations for improvements.
- Continuously enhance test automation practices and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- 610 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG).
- Experience with programming languages such as Java Python or C#.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Experience with reporting and invoice management applications is a plus.

Duration: 6 Months Contract
