Job Description
Job Title: IT Forensics (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations including the analysis of computer systems networks and digital storage devices.
- Collect preserve and document digital evidence in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Perform data recovery and analysis to uncover evidence of unauthorized access data breaches and other cyber incidents.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports and present findings to stakeholders including technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response and data protection strategies.
- Stay current with the latest trends tools and best practices in digital forensics and cybersecurity.
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings if required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in digital forensics cybersecurity or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in forensic tools and software such as EnCase FTK X1 or similar.
- Strong understanding of file systems operating systems and network protocols.
- Experience with data recovery evidence handling and forensic analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to digital evidence and data protection.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with advanced threat detection and response tools.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
