Are you detailoriented and skilled in managing financial records Affinity Services is seeking a meticulous Invoicing Clerk to join our finance team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing processing and managing invoices to ensure accurate billing and smooth financial operations.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify billing information and resolve any discrepancies with internal departments or clients
- Maintain accurate records of invoices payments and account balances
- Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with reconciliation of accounts to ensure consistency between financial records
- Generate reports related to invoicing payments and accounts receivable
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and resolve any issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Invoicing Clerk or in a similar financial role
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage) and MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Good communication skills and a customer serviceoriented approach
- A degree or diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field is an advantage
