Job Description
Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)/ORTFirst Assist
Location:Richmond VA
Pay Rate: $52/hour
Shift: Days( 7AM5PM)
Responsibilities: RNFA must be proficient in all 3 areas (RN Scrub and Assist) RN and Scrub will be considered
Flexible and be willing to take call in all 3 areas ( where there is the greatest need)
Positive Attitude
Live within 30 minute response time to OR
Level II Trauma General Vascular DaVinci Cardiac
GYN; Pediatrics Neonates; ENT; Plastics GYN Oncology; Ortho
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Assist the surgical team during surgeries anticipating the needs of surgeons and other team members.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Handle and pass instruments to surgeons during procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Requirements:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- Proficiency in surgical instrument identification and usage.
- Covid Vaccination
- 2 professional references
