Ultrasound Technician Maternal Fetal Medicine

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound exams related to Obstetrics and Gynecology focusing on 1st 2nd and 3rd trimesters Amniotic Fluid Index Fetal Anatomical Surveys Placenta Previa and Renal/Pelvic exams including imaging of the ovaries uterus and vaginal area.
• Use specialized equipment such as GE ultrasound machines and navigate EPIC systems.
• Conduct up to 10 patient visits per day.
• Potential to float to one other clinic: Harbor Pointe OBGYN (located 26 minutes from Mintview).
• No weekend or call requirements.

Important Information:

• RTO: Requests for time off after booking are not allowed and cannot be adjusted onsite. Excessive calloffs may lead to cancellation or do not return (DNR) status.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of ultrasound tech experience with at least 1 year in a maternal fetal medicine setting. Firsttime travelers are accepted.
• Certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN or RDMSOB and BLS certification.
• Skills: Must have experience with OB/GYN and renal/pelvic ultrasound imaging. Experience with 1st 2nd 3rd trimesters Amniotic Fluid Index Fetal Anatomical Survey Placenta Previa Ovaries Uterus and Vaginal imaging.
• Preferred Experience: Nuchal Translucency screening is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using Visage and GE Equipment is required.

Additional Details:

• Orientation: 12 hours of clinic orientation provided.
• Scrubs: Royal blue scrubs are required but not provided by the facility.
