QA Automation Engineer

Location: Kochi

Exp Level: 4 Years

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard automation tools with a focus on Selenium.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to define test requirements and specifications.
• Identify document and report software defects and issues providing detailed information for effective troubleshooting and resolution.
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications and systems to ensure they meet functional requirements quality standards and performance expectations.
• Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the development team.
• Continuously improve and optimize the automated testing processes frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends tools and technologies related to quality assurance and automation testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Java C# or Python.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
