Talent Acquisition Partner
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition we are recruting a Talent Acquisition Lead for BC & Ontario who will be in charge of supporting the Talent Acquisition team in this region while managing the staffing process for a variety of positions. In addition to daytoday HR duties the incumbent will be responsible for various HR team projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition :
- Support Talent Acquisition team within BC & Ontario region for daily recruitment activities;
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment process for positions: posting positions screening resumes selecting candidates scheduling and conducting screening interviews coordinating assessments and tests drafting offer letters and processing references and background check;
- Act as a partner for their client group and be responsible for the entire recruitment process of professional and managerial staff in support of Vancouver office operations;
- Participate in the creation and implementation of innovative strategies to recruit and retain top talent in line with the companys development and expansion strategy;
- Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates (social networks corporate events career days networking days) and promote the employer brand to our future talent;
- Participate in the development and deployment of various talent acquisition strategies to maximize results in the various recruitment processes (headhunting visibility social media partnerships international hiring all other relevant strategies);
- Source within various media (recruitment platform LinkedIn professional organizations and specialized sites) to improve the visibility of job postings and facilitate staffing;
- Administer sort and classify online resumes follow up and maintain candidate flow using the applicant tracking system (Zoho Recruit);
- Participate in recruitment job and other fairs to promote the company in its market;
- Participate to training and continuous developpment of talent acquisition professionals within the region;
- Act as a partner for deploying the corporate culture;
- Ensure constant collaboration with the team of human resources business partners;
- Ensure compliance of our practices with provincial laws and regulations;
- Act as a resource for maintaining competitive compensation in BC & Ontario market;
- Be part of a team where everyone contributes to regular administrative requirements;
- Carry out any other task or mandate at the request of the immediate superior.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or certificate in human resources industrial relations or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum five years experience in a similar role in a company operating in a competitive market;
- Past experience in construstion industry is a strong asset;
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment best practices;
- Bilingual (English and French) is an strong asset;
- Solid experience with MS Office suite (Excel Word PowerPoint);
- Excellent command of the Google suite social networks and recruitment platforms;
- Good knowledge of specialized computer systems for recruitment (ATS);
- Experience of working with LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networks.
