We are seeking a Production Control Supervisor to join the night shift for a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles and diesel engine parts. This facility 51% owned by Toyota Corporation recently expanded with a new production line. This is an exciting opportunity to drive inventory management processes and contribute to the company s growth. The location is commutable from Memphis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials purchased components and finished goods ensuring the "just right" balance for cost control and production efficiency.
- Cost Control Collaboration: Work closely with the cost control team to ensure the production line operates efficiently while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
- Production Line Oversight: Manage and oversee the flow of materials for the new production line ensuring smooth operation and timely fulfillment of production schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory control and support production goals.
- Leadership: Supervise the night shift production control team ensuring alignment with company policies and production standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory of purchased components and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Supervisory Role: Oversee production control and inventory processes for raw materials purchased components and finished goods.
