Job Description

Location: Various locations across Texas

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will provide essential patient care in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals clinics and longterm care facilities. Your role will focus on supporting patients daily needs administering medications and collaborating with healthcare teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily care of patients including bathing dressing and feeding while ensuring comfort and dignity.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed monitoring patients for side effects and effectiveness.
  • Observe and record patients vital signs symptoms and changes in condition reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Work closely with registered nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management medication usage and preventive care strategies.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families fostering a compassionate care environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state LPN license and current CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate patientcentered care while maintaining confidentiality.
