Job Description
Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Amsterdam Netherlands
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Mode: Onsite or Hybrid (flexible)
Sponsorship: Optional (dependent on candidates requirements).
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team in Amsterdam Netherlands. As a Python Developer you will play a crucial role in enabling and implementing continuous delivery preventing technical debt and motivating the team to deliver highquality results. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team adheres to industry standards and best practices optimising the use of Python frameworks and contributing to software architecture and technical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enable and implement continuous delivery using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD
- Prevent technical debt by identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
- Motivate the team to deliver highquality results according to expectations or exceed them
- Foster a culture of critical thinking and decisionmaking while accepting decisions made by the majority
- Ensure that the team is aware of and adheres to industry standards and best practices during development
- Understand and work comfortably with agile startup methodologies
- Optimize the use of Python frameworks to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure that all projects have sufficient and uptodate documentation
- Contribute to software architecture and technical designs providing expertise and guidance to the team
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of the Utility Domain is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python development with a focus on continuous delivery and technical debt prevention
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Strong understanding of agile startup methodologies and experience working in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a flexible approach to work modes (onsite or hybrid)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively
