Senior Security Manager
Our client a US healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Security Manager for North Asia.
Overall Purpose Of The Job
As a senior leader in the North Asia Medical and Security Assistance Services the Senior Security Manager plays a crucial role in understanding clients needs and driving excellence in client experience both during crises and in routine operations.
This role involves managing daytoday security case delivery including case direction supervision and to ensure highquality and consistent Security Assistance services for North Asiabased (Japan and South Korea) clients. The role also involves identifying evolving client needs collaborating with the broader Security Services community and driving continuous improvement in service delivery and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Management and Leadership
- Provide supervision and guidance to Security Assistance team members in Japan and South Korea.
- Manage Security Managers and Specialists including professional development appraisals and performance reviews.
- Coordinate recruitment onboarding and inductions for security team members.
- Collaborate with Tokyo and Seoul management to integrate with the broader Assistance function.
- Uphold and promote the Group values (Passion Expertise Respect Care) and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Core Security Assistance Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality security risk management and crisis management advice in line with service standards.
- Lead complex assistance cases and 24/7 crisis management support for Japan.
- Provide case management direction training and development for Security Managers and Specialists.
- Identify evolving client needs and improve client experiences through trend analysis.
- Collaborate with Assistance Centres Flight Desks and Travel Advisor teams to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Ensure bestinclass security assistance capabilities in Japan and South Korea.
- Develop and maintain security assistance capabilities including secure hotels and provider information.
- Support regional security escalations and local office crisis response.
- Participate in the security oncall roster as required.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Degree in security studies international relations or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 8 years of experience in security management or related roles.
Languages
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Native/fluent Japanese.
- Working knowledge of Korean is desirable.
