The SDET responsibilities include testcase development manual testing designing and implementing automated UI / API tests for web applications.
The responsibilities will also include monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
The candidate is also expected to strike a balance between Indian and Australia (Perth) time zones to ensure attending client calls address production issues etc.

Main Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements and:
- Develop Test plan
- Develop testcases and review them
- Automate testcases
- Conduct:
- Manual testing
- Automation testing
- Performance testing
- Integrate all automated tests and reports with CI.
- Coordinate with your project team complete testing on time report bugs and track them to closure.
- Take part in team standups product review meetings weekly meetings.
Key Result Area
- Timely delivery of testcases and automated tests on a sprinttosprint basis.
- Automation coverage to be at least 80% (80% manual test cases must be automated).
- Effective reporting of work and reports.
Skill Set
- Strong in programming language like Java / C# etc.
- Good knowledge on Test frameworks and hands on experience with Selenium TestNg RestAssured and Build tools like Gradle/Maven
- Handson experience with Containers Docker
- Good Debugging analytical and problemsolving skills
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git/Sourcetree Jira
- Handson experience of Windows/Mobile/Web application testing. Candidates with web application automation will be preferred.
- Handson experience in test case development is a must.
- Hands on experience in setting up CI test report generation with tools like Allure Extent reports etc.
- Candidates with handson experience on AWS/Azure for testing/automation or knowledge/certification in AWS/Azure will be preferred.
- Handson experience in test automation of at least 3 years will be preferable.
