Position Overview:
As a Video Editor at Social Imprint you will be responsible for editing both shortform content for platforms like Instagram TikTok and YouTube Shorts as well as longform videos for YouTube and podcasts. Were looking for someone who is not just technically proficient but also highly creative innovative and deeply in tune with the latest video editing trends. While shortform content is currently the focus having a strong grasp of longform content creation is essential as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Engaging Content:
Edit both shortform (Instagram Reels TikTok YouTube Shorts) and longform videos (YouTube podcasts) that are visually captivating and strategically aligned with our brand and client goals.
Stay Ahead of Trends:
Keep up with the latest video editing techniques trends and platform updates to ensure our content is always fresh creative and impactful.
Collaborate Closely:
Work with Account Managers and Social Media Managers to ensure that all content is aligned with client objectives brand standards and overall marketing strategy.
Multitask Efficiently:
Juggle multiple video projects at once managing tight deadlines while maintaining highquality output.
Innovate with Flexibility:
While we value experience with CapCut we welcome proficiency in other editing tools like Adobe Premiere Final Cut Pro or other cuttingedge software. Creativity and flexibility in editing approaches are key.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio showcasing both shortform and longform content.
Deep understanding of social media video trends particularly in the real estate or similar sectors.
Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut preferred but Adobe Premiere Final Cut Pro and others are also valued).
Ability to deliver highquality work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
