Benefits Consultant Job Summary
We are seeking a Benefits Consultant to join our consulting team. In this position you will meet with our clients and help them develop a costeffective benefits package. You must consider several factors including how a change in benefits can affect the morale and productivity of employees. Our ideal applicant has a bachelors degree in human resources or business and several years of consulting experience. You should also have some sales experience and customer relationship management skills for building and maintaining our client base.
Benefits Consultant Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine their needs
- Assess their current benefits package
- Audit the companys finances
- Offer a selection of benefits options
- Follow up with clients after the project is complete
Benefits Consultant Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in HR or business
- Several years of consulting experience
- Experience working with benefits
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
