Job Summary: The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration support and optimization of our financial systems and applications. This role ensures the integration of financial data enhances system functionality and supports the financial planning and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial systems excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work crossfunctionally to drive system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain financial systems (e.g. ERP financial reporting tools) including system upgrades patches and configurations.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for financial systems resolving issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other enterprise systems maintaining data integrity and accuracy across platforms.
- System Optimization: Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement recommend enhancements and implement best practices.
- Financial Reporting: Support the generation of financial reports ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Project Management: Lead and manage systemrelated projects including implementations upgrades and integrations ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with finance accounting IT and other departments to understand system needs gather requirements and ensure effective system use.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials for users create and maintain system documentation and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CPA CISA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing financial systems with a strong background in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) and financial reporting tools.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and systems with a solid understanding of SQL data integration and reporting tools. Experience with system implementation and project management is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
