The Scrub Techs on the Healthplex Campus demonstrate teamwork ensuring the sterile environment is maintained and keeping a safe environment for our patients. They orient new Scrub Techs to all of their surgical areas by providing an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor in which Scrub Techs become proficient in all of their service lines. Scrub Techs will assist the surgeon during the operative procedure and maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area. Norman Regional provides generous benefits for their employees who they call healers. Those include:

• Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a Surgical Tech Required
• Recent clinical experience as a CST/Surg Tech Required
• Or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech Preferred
  
• National Certification Highly Preferred
  
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  
• If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification. Required
  
• Currently Oklahoma LPN license if applicable. Required
