Role Overview:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer you will play a key role in developing highquality scalable
and efficient frontend applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers
designers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences. Your expertise in
Next.js API integration and thirdparty integrations will be vital in driving our projects
forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Applications: Build responsive highperformance web
applications using Next.js ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
API Integration: Design and implement robust API integrations to connect frontend
applications with backend services and thirdparty tools.
Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional
user interfaces while maintaining the integrity of the design.
Code Quality: Lead code reviews enforce best practices and promote a culture of
continuous improvement within the frontend team.
Deployment: Manage frontend build processes and deployment pipelines ensuring
smooth releases and efficient workflows.
Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers sharing knowledge and best practices
to foster a collaborative environment.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest frontend technologies and trends evaluating
their potential impact on the team and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 8 years of professional experience in frontend development.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript
frameworks.
API Integration: Solid experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with
thirdparty services.
Deployment Tools: Familiarity with frontend build tools and deployment processes (e.g. Webpack CI/CD).
Responsive Design: Expertise in building responsive accessible and crossbrowser compatible applications.
Version Control: Proficient with Git and related workflows.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability
to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g. Redux MobX).
Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Cypress).
Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
