About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a dynamic XRay Technologist to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll take ownership of providing mobile XRay and EKG services utilizing your expertise in radiology and medical imaging technology. If youre passionate about healthcare and have a proven track record of success in diagnostic imaging and patient care we want to meet you!
Your Mission:
- Perform and process XRays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Transport and unload portable XRay equipment into facilities for exams ordered by physicians.
Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. - Communicate efficiently with dispatch management peers and clients ensuring professional interaction at all times.
Core Competencies:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Proficiency in mobile XRay and EKG procedures.
Technical Skills: Expertise in portable digital/computed radiography equipment. - Communication: Ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare teams.
- Time Management: Capable of managing schedules and multiple assignments effectively.
What You Bring:
- ARRT Certification Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
- 1 years of experience in radiologic technology including XRay and EKG.
- Expertise in mobile imaging technology.
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
Skills Required:
- Mobile Radiology: Expertise in portable XRay equipment.
- EKG Procedures: Experience performing and interpreting electrocardiograms.
- Patient Care: Knowledge of safety protocols and patient handling.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with digital radiography systems and healthcare software.
Certifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required.
- State Licensure in Radiologic Technology Required (Indiana preferred).
Education:
- Bachelors degree in radiologic technology or a related field is preferred.
Associates degree with relevant certifications is acceptable.
