Requirements
- Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering Building Services Engineering or a related field is preferred though equivalent qualifications will also be considered. This educational foundation will provide you with the essential technical knowledge required for the role.
- Professional Accreditation: Ideally you will hold Chartered Engineer status or be actively working towards submission with a recognized institution such as CIBSE or IMechE. This commitment to professional development reflects your dedication to maintaining high standards in engineering practice.
- Consultancy and Contracting Experience: You should possess prior experience in consultancy or contracting roles specifically in areas such as Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Design and Specification Surveying and Reporting and Project Management. This experience will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and its demands.
- MultiDisciplinary Collaboration: Experience working within a multidisciplinary environment is essential. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with both internal teams and external clients.
