Estimator

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects including materials labor and equipment.
  
• Review and analyze project plans specifications and other documentation to understand the scope of work
  
• and required resources.
  
• Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to gather essential information and clarify project details.
  
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  
• Maintain an uptodate database of costs and pricing information.
  
• Assist in the negotiation and preparation of contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  
• Provide ongoing support during the project lifecycle including cost tracking and variation management.
  
• Present estimates to management and clients providing detailed explanations and justifications as needed.
  
• Stay updated with industry trends materials and construction methods to ensure accurate and relevant estimates.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  
• At least 3 years of proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and industry standards.
  
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
  
• Proficiency with construction management and estimation softwares such as Procore Buildxact Corelogic and Bluebeam.
  
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Ability to interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  
• Good communication skills both written and verbal to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fastpaced environment.
